US Environmental Protection Office of MAIA -Mid Atlantic Assessment Office , located at Ft Meade, Maryland is a reserachm monitoring and assessment program in the Mid Atlantic region. MAIA is a partnership of federal ,state and ocal governments; Non governemental organizations (NGO) and academic insitututions . US EPA MAIA s goal is to provide integrate scientific knowledge to support the environmental decsion making process for the Mid Atlantic Region. This includes development and iimplementation of multi scale monitoringin designs, scientific tools and high quality data.

US EPA MAIA Offices work with multiple partnering groups from State, local, Federal , academic and private associations inclusive of military groups. the MAIA offices work with multiple speciality areas for merged research efforts in reviewing health outcomes. These areas are inclusive of but not limited to pharmacy, medicine, health monitoring, public health , ecological or land use geo /GIS data bases, data base management fields, hydrology and multiple others. MAIA actively seeks community partnerships and to expand it working partners in integrated assessments efforts for health and the environment.
