Dan York, CISSP, serves on the Board of Directors of the VoIP Security Alliance (VOIPSA) and chairs the Best Practices project developing industry-wide best practices for securing VoIP systems. As Director of IP Technology reporting to the CTO of Mitel, Dan evaluates and analyzes emerging VoIP technology and chairs Mitel's Product Security Team with overall responsibility for security issues relating to Mitel's portfolio of VoIP products and services. Outside of Mitel, he is the producer and co-host of the weekly "Blue Box: The VoIP Security Podcast" (http://www.blueboxpodcast.com/) where he and a co-host discuss VoIP security news, comments, opinions and interview people in the field. A dynamic speaker with over 20 years in information technology and as the author of several books, Dan brings a wealth of experience and an engaging style to his presentations.
