About this Workshop
The Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA) is a business
and performance-based framework to support cross-agency collaboration,
transformation, and government-wide improvement. It provides OMB and the
Federal agencies with a new way of describing, analyzing, and improving
the Federal Government and its ability to serve the citizen.
The use of this strategy began in the commercial sector where many major corporations,
also faced with increased demand for services to its clients and business
partners and the need to cross corporate stovepipes.
Experience has been gained. Best practices established. Lessons have been
learned. This conference will focus on the best of the best from the commercial
sector as they apply to the special needs of government.

Ladies and men's lounges, public telephones,
and a coat room are conveniently located inside this A-rated Conference Center.
Transportation and Parking:
At the corner of Wilson Boulevard and N.
Taylor in the heart of Arlington's Ballston district, the Ellipse Conference
Center is easily accessible by public transportation or automobile.
From Metro's Orange Line,
exit at Ballston; NRECA is one block southwest from the Ballston Station.
A covered walkway is available from the Metro Station Plaza to the
Ballston Common Mall; NRECA is less than one block northwest from
the mall exit.
From I-66, take the Glebe Road/Ballston Exit. Follow Glebe until it intersects
with Wilson; turn left onto Wilson and left again onto N. Taylor Street.
The building's parking garage is closed for monthly parkers only, but
several public parking garages are nearby.
